Owners seem to be trying hard to make this a cute historic boutique hotel, but Inadequate facility maintenance could be a barrier to pulling this off. Our room was simple and clean, with a very tiny bathroom. Hotel is well located and has a charming coffee shop/bar in the lobby. However damaged bathroom floor tiles had allowed for water intrusion. Concern regarding the floor’s stability was reported repeatedly with no follow up. Appearance of damage worsened over our three days stay and photos were shared with manager privately via email, but no response as yet. Young staff was welcoming, but apparently, without authorization to provide alternative room or respond to customer concern. Be aware there is a $30 per day “service fee“ added to whatever daily rate you are quoted. This apparently covers parking, which is in a garage two blocks away, and is required, even though less expensive parking is available closer.

The hotel has so much old St. Pete charm and the staff was amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. Kayla Sydney was working the front desk, very sweet. The coffee was delicious, some of the best I have had in a while. I would come back again.

Was pleasantly surprised when I booked last minute. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. The window AC was very strong and kept us cool. I've seen other people complain but I don't get it.. this place is awesome !! And I stay in nice hotels by the way so it was cool to be in like an old building like this. Very well appointed and clean with lots of history and charm.

Amazing service! Served by Sydney at the bar. She’s fantastic. Her drinks were lovely and great company. The bar was clean and we had a great time. Kayla was also a sweetheart. 10/10 will come back!
